We are overwhelmed with the support and prayer that Lindy is receiving. This site has been created to streamline the fundraising efforts being offered by so many. If you would like to help in these efforts in any way, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
From Chad (Lindy's husband):
We were on vacation at Jackson Hole, skiing a route we had skied multiple times that day and Lindy was skiing great and in control. Near the bottom of the mountain Lindy hit a slick spot on the mountain and fell. She slid and before she could get stopped she struck a wooden trail marker. Ski patrol took Lindy to the Hospital on the mountain who determined quickly she needed to be life flighted to Idaho Falls. We took a short chopper ride over and after scans it was determined Lindy needed immediate surgery. The neurosurgeon performed surgery on her that night. Surgery was performed to basically reconstruct the damaged portion of her vertebrae and relieve the pressure off the spinal cord to allow it to heal. Her injury is an incomplete injury. She had a bad ordeal and has a serious injury but we are working through it.
